Lo que harás
  • Responsable de la clasificación de todo el equipo importado y exportado bajo el vínculo aduanero de SMS group Inc.
  • Encargado de la precisión de las facturas de los agentes de aduanas y de los resúmenes de entrada, asegurando la clasificación e iniciando correcciones según sea necesario.
  • Desarrollar e implementar oportunidades de ahorro/evitación de costos o proyectos de reducción de plazos.
  • Mantener y conservar toda la documentación de entradas/clasificaciones.
  • Apoyar a todas las entidades globales de SMS con los requisitos de despacho aduanero en EE. UU.
  • Responder a consultas aduaneras para aclarar clasificaciones y otros asuntos.
  • Asistir a asociados, proveedores y clientes con asuntos aduaneros.
  • Gestionar todas las actividades y problemas de los agentes de aduanas de importación.
  • Organizar envíos internacionales y nacionales para apoyar los proyectos de SMS group.
  • Preparar toda la documentación relacionada con envíos internacionales (importación/exportación).
  • Adherirse a todas las políticas de cumplimiento de la empresa.
  • Conocimiento de todas las regulaciones aduaneras actuales y pendientes y de los aranceles armonizados.
  • Realizar otras tareas adicionales según se asignen.
  • Requerido - Microsoft Office, Outlook, equipos de oficina (teléfono, copiadora, impresora, escáner).
  • Excelentes habilidades de comunicación, tanto verbales como escritas. Habilidades organizativas. Habilidades interpersonales. Habilidades para resolver problemas. Manejar un alto volumen de trabajo sensible al tiempo. Capacidad para trabajar de forma independiente con supervisión mínima.
  • Capacidad para utilizar múltiples sistemas y material de referencia. Interactuar con clientes, transportistas, agentes de aduanas, agencias gubernamentales, personal interno, gerentes de todos los niveles y departamentos internos.
Lo que necesitarás
  • Se requiere título universitario, preferiblemente con concentración en negocios internacionales o logística-cadena de suministro.
  • Se prefiere la certificación de Especialista en Aduanas (CCS) y/o licencia de agente de aduanas.
  • Experiencia relacionada con la cadena de suministro/logística dentro de la industria de fabricación industrial más de 2-5 años de experiencia en aduanas es requerida.
  • Se prefiere experiencia en SAP.
