Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Register and check-out guests with a smile, providing accurate and timely information.
  • Manage PBX operations, mail, and message services with precision and care.
  • Develop relationships with guests that will keep them coming back for more.
  • Review arrivals, noting special requests and blocking rooms as needed.
  • Complete daily checklists with attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
  • Conduct pre-assignment of hotel rooms, ensuring VIPs, repeat guests, and special requests are met.
  • Follow established key control policy and ensure proper credit policies are followed.
  • Submit lost and found articles with a completed report.
  • Familiarize yourself with fire and emergency procedures.
  • Balance daily shift bank, verifying cash, check, and credit card transactions.
  • Monitor room availability and review daily selling status using yield management system.
  • Attend department meetings and communicate effectively with other departments.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a Front Desk or customer-facing role.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Knowledge of the immediate area, services, attractions, and events.
  • Flexible schedule, able to work overnights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, handling multiple arrivals and departures.
  • Familiarity with hotel systems and operations.
