Overview:

The Senior Enterprise Patient Access Analyst is accountable for assessing, analyzing, and recommending enhancements for designated applications and systems. This role includes ongoing production maintenance and troubleshooting responsibilities. The analyst will support the planning, design, development, and configuration of the applications and systems in use. They will also lead and coordinate system conversions, testing, and documentation of procedures, while actively participating in training design and execution for related projects. Additionally, this position provides essential go-live support and serves as the primary contact for ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

The analyst will evaluate project requests relevant to their area of expertise, conducting assessments of current states, gathering requirements, and defining future state designs. They will lead implementation teams through the planning, design, development, testing, and deployment phases of projects, while also contributing to the creation of training programs and post-implementation documentation. It is essential to ensure that system designs comply with corporate policies and applicable federal regulations. Collaboration with customer departments is crucial to ensure that solutions effectively address complex organizational challenges.

Project management will involve preparing detailed project plans, guiding the application team to adhere to schedules, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. The analyst will identify and escalate issues to the appropriate governance bodies to facilitate successful implementations. They will also manage the change request process for assigned projects, preparing necessary documentation and presenting project requests to relevant advisory groups. Regular status updates on project progress will be provided, and coordination with the Project Management Office will be essential.

Maintenance and Support:

The analyst will monitor and resolve support tickets as assigned, coordinating software and hardware updates with relevant departments. They will also develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system procedures.

Qualifications for Success:

Experience:

A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required, along with proven project management skills. Direct experience with similar systems in the healthcare sector is essential.

Education:

A four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required. Analysts supporting Epic software must demonstrate proficiency in the relevant Epic applications, completing all necessary training and testing within the designated timeframe. Ongoing education requirements must also be fulfilled.

Certifications:

  • Preferred certifications include Epic Prelude, Grand Central, Cadence, Referral, and Welcome.
