Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary resource and consultant for IT-related systems and initiatives.
  • Act as a technical project consultant on significant projects and oversee major components of smaller initiatives.
  • Collaborate with fellow Systems Analysts/Programmers and business units to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Engage in testing and assessing new technologies to verify compatibility and functionality.
  • Provide technical guidance on internal departmental procedures and advocate for enhanced productivity or efficiency.
  • Foster strong relationships within IT and across the organization to stay informed about current and future application requirements.
  • Develop proposals for system enhancements in conjunction with business management, including evaluating potential solutions and coordinating with external vendors as necessary.
  • Manage and execute IT system change management processes and tasks.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of IT solutions, including data sources/structures, applications, integrations, and business processes.
  • Lead the execution of application projects in partnership with other Systems Analysts/Programmers, IT Infrastructure personnel, and business groups/users.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in system and user technical support.
  • At least 3 years of development experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle PL/SQL, and .NET.
  • Familiarity with business and technical support for Quorum Upstream Suite, Quorum Land, and Quorum GIS.
  • Preferred experience with Crystal Reports and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
  • Preferred experience with ArcGIS 10.0 or higher and Python 2.7.6 or 3.
