Job Summary:

As a Medical Assistant at Medix, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to assist with patient examinations, prepare examination rooms, and maintain accurate patient records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment.
• Collect and record patient histories and vital signs.
• Perform laboratory tests and manage specimen collection.
• Schedule appointments and follow-up visits.
• Maintain accurate patient records in our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.

Requirements:

• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred.
• Previous experience in a medical office setting is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in EHR systems and basic computer skills.
