Position Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated full-time Healthcare Support Specialist to contribute to our practice. This position encompasses both clinical and administrative responsibilities. The administrative aspects include managing communications for the physician, assisting with billing processes, and coordinating prior authorizations with insurance providers, among other tasks. Clinical responsibilities involve preparing patients for in-office treatment procedures, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), a non-invasive therapy designed for individuals with Treatment Resistant Depression. Comprehensive training will be provided upon hiring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients before treatment and monitor their progress during sessions.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phone inquiries, and supporting office management.
- Assist in obtaining prior authorizations for treatments and medications.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients.
Qualifications:
- Experience in nursing, patient care, or related fields is preferred.
- Patient care experience is essential, along with basic life support skills. TMS training will be provided upon hiring.
- Strong ability to establish rapport with patients.
- Demonstrate a compassionate and caring attitude.
