Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team at ImmunoTek Bio Centers, LLC. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our donor center, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and company-specific regulations, and driving business growth through effective leadership and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of donor center operations, including donor recruitment, plasma collection, and quality control.
  • Develop and implement action plans to maximize center efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage and develop talent within the donor center, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with center leadership to develop and implement business strategies and goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including OSHA, CLIA, and cGMP.
  • Develop and maintain thorough familiarity with all company policies and procedures.
  • Provide timely feedback on performance and initiate disciplinary action when necessary.
  • Participate in the evaluation and review of center staff.
  • Direct and monitor the performance of outside vendors.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years relevant work experience, including one (1) year experience in a supervisory position, preferably in a regulated industry.
  • Associates Degree in Science or Business Management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure and technical manuals.
  • Ability to interpret a wide variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time for up to four (4) hours at a time.
  • Ability to lift, tug, pull up to fifty (50) pounds.
  • Manual dexterity to perform all phases of donor plasmapheresis.
Work Environment
  • Typical work environment with moderate noise level.
  • May be exposed to freezing temperatures for short periods of time.
  • Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
