We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Lead Unified Communications Specialist to enhance our operations.


Key Responsibilities:

- Addressing Unified Communications user incidents and requests, including operational voice and video challenges.
- Troubleshooting issues with vendor-specific multi-level video teleconferencing systems.
- Executing Moves/Adds/Changes in accordance with established SLAs.
- Compiling weekly activity reports for management.
- Assisting in the installation of local and/or remote data and voice communications equipment, which includes voice terminals, video conferencing units, concentrators, minicomputers, central processing units, and facsimiles.

- Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation, including operational guidelines.
- Collaborating within a team to implement standardized solutions utilizing Cisco wired and wireless network equipment across various locations.


Basic Qualifications:

- A minimum of 4 years of experience in information networks, including expertise in Cisco VTC codes, Cisco VoIP endpoints, and Cisco Unified Call Manager (CUCM) version 11.5 or later.
- Certification requirements as outlined in DoD Directive M for Information Assurance Technician Level II.
- DoD 8570 computing environment certification within 6 months of hire.
- Cisco CCNA Voice or equivalent certification.
- Strong problem-solving abilities; capacity to visualize and abstractly resolve issues.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a commitment to exceeding client expectations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Local travel may be required up to 10%.


Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in IT, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- Familiarity with SolarWinds Voice/Video QoS product is advantageous.


Security Clearance Requirements:

- Top Secret-SCI clearance adjudicated within the last 6 years.
- Willingness to undergo a random CI polygraph.


Physical Requirements:

- Ability to remain stationary for 50% of the time.
- Occasionally move within the office to access file cabinets and office machinery.
- Frequently communicate with colleagues, management, and clients, which may involve delivering presentations and exchanging accurate information.

The projected compensation range for this position is $121,800-$204,100. Various factors can influence the final salary, including contract wage determination, relevant experience, skills, geographic location, education, and certifications.
