Position Overview: As a Vascular Ultrasound Technician, you will conduct vascular ultrasound assessments of patients' lower limbs and other necessary examinations, ensuring a balance between patient needs and the smooth operation of the clinic.

Patient Experience: Your role will be pivotal in providing an exceptional service experience for patients.

Work Schedule: This position is part-time across multiple clinic locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ultrasound examinations to generate a Venous Flow Map, aiding in the formulation of a safe and effective treatment strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Physician to communicate the treatment plan to patients, addressing their specific requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain procedure rooms, examination areas, and ultrasound facilities before and after patient visits.
  • Perform additional ultrasound assessments as dictated by the Physician's treatment plan to ensure patient safety and treatment efficacy.
  • Adhere to established timeframes for each ultrasound examination to maintain an efficient patient flow throughout the day.
  • Work alongside office and administrative staff, as well as Physicians, to review ultrasound schedules, ensuring the availability of technicians for timely patient care.
  • Commit to continuous professional development and skill enhancement to meet the company's standards of care.
  • Manage equipment maintenance and supply inventory to support effective operational functions.

Additional Duties: Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Ultrasound program is required.
  • Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist, Registered Vascular Specialist, or Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RVT/RVS/RpHS) is required or the ability to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.
