Position Overview: As a Vascular Ultrasound Specialist, you will conduct vascular ultrasound assessments of patients' lower limbs and other necessary evaluations while ensuring a seamless patient experience and efficient clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ultrasound assessments to generate a Venous Flow Map, aiding in the formulation of a safe and effective treatment strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Physician to clarify the treatment plan to patients, addressing their individual requirements.
  • Prepare and sanitize procedure rooms, examination areas, and ultrasound facilities before and after patient visits.
  • Perform additional ultrasound assessments as dictated by the Physician's treatment plan to guarantee patient safety and treatment efficacy.
  • Adhere to established timeframes for each ultrasound procedure to maintain an efficient patient flow throughout the day.
  • Work alongside office and administrative staff, as well as Physicians, to review the ultrasound schedule, ensuring the availability of technicians for optimal patient care.
  • Continuously enhance your skills and maintain quality of work in alignment with the company's care standards through ongoing education and collaboration with fellow Ultrasound Technologists.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance and manage supply inventory to support effective clinic operations.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Completion certificate from an accredited Ultrasound program is preferred.
  • Registered Vascular Technologist, Registered Vascular Specialist, or Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RVT / RVS / RpHS) certification, or the ability to obtain certification within 90 days of employment, is required.
  • Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and exceptional patient care abilities.
  • Capacity to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong multitasking skills, effective prioritization, and teamwork capabilities.

While fulfilling the duties of this position, the employee may occasionally be required to stand for extended periods, walk, sit for prolonged durations, use hands for handling or manipulating objects, keyboarding, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, or crawl, and communicate verbally or audibly. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Repetitive motion of the upper body is necessary for extended computer use.
