Apply TodayJob Summary and QualificationsThe Tech – Vascular performs quality non-invasive vascular ultrasound examinations using protocols determined by the Medical Director of the vascular lab and exhibits a exemplary customer service to all patients, family, physician, and hospital staff members.What you will do in this role: Maintains departmental compliance logs.Participates in performance improvement processes.Obtains quality diagnostic images according to protocolExam orders: ensures all orders have the required 5 elementsPACS: Scans in and labels documents appropriately, resolve QA issues in a timely manner, ensure images are released to radiologists in a timely manner.RIS: ensures orders are valid and entered appropriately, ensures ordering physician is correct, completes exams with accurate information, documents pertinent information.Participates in departmental accreditation processes and QA.Transports patients as necessary.Prepares and disperses preliminary reports as indicated by vascular lab protocolWhat qualifications you will need:Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start dateVocational School GraduateRegistered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, or Registered Vascular Technician (RVT)B.S.
