Job Overview:

We are in search of a skilled Agile Project Manager to oversee software development initiatives. The ideal candidate will manage projects that enhance both internal and customer-facing software capabilities, focusing on product support and services for a global audience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project and Schedule Oversight: Develop and sustain a comprehensive project strategy by tracking timelines, milestones, tasks, deliverables, and dependencies.
  • Scope and Budget Management: Assist in defining project scope and establishing budget baselines while adhering to the system development lifecycle.
  • Team Leadership: Direct daily project team activities, ensuring prioritization of critical tasks and monitoring progress effectively.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Provide leadership and integrate efforts with various departments and partners to guarantee successful project execution.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify potential risks and issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Focus on Objectives: Ensure project alignment with key goals and manage expectations across all relevant functional areas.
  • Communication Strategy: Develop and maintain a robust communication plan to keep all stakeholders informed.
  • Change Management: Implement change management protocols to effectively manage project scope and additional tasks.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor project deliverables to ensure they meet established quality standards and negotiate for necessary resources.
  • Contract Oversight: Participate in the creation and monitoring of supplier contracts and related activities.
  • Technical Proficiency: Utilize Microsoft Office applications, including MS Project and Jira, for agile project management.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years in Project Management for complex technical software projects.
  • At least 7 years of overall Project Management experience.
  • Proven experience in negotiating project baselines and conducting design reviews.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams across various locations.
  • Strong communication skills with business leadership.
  • Experience with agile methodologies, such as SAFe or Scrum, is preferred.
  • Ability to facilitate large meetings and drive results.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project and/or Primavera.
  • Experience as a Scrum Master.
  • Background in large enterprise programs.
Education & Experience:

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 7 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with the Salesforce platform.
  • Knowledge of the aviation industry, particularly in operations and crew management.
  • Experience managing support or services teams.
  • Expertise in coaching teams in agile methodologies.
