Job Summary

The Senior Project Manager - Enterprise Transformation is a key contributor to the development of CommonSpirit Health's transformation strategy. This role is responsible for delivering best-practice approaches to plan and prepare for all aspects of project engagement, delivery, and adoption within the assigned portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships between IT and multiple customer constituencies, including patients, consumers, providers, clinical staff, administrators, and employees across CommonSpirit Health.
  • Establish and maintain channels of communication between business, IT, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop project plans that identify key issues, problems, approaches, performance metrics, communication plans, resources required, and ensure deliverables of the ITD initiatives.
  • Supervise project resources required to deliver each task, including Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Design Engineers, CyberSecurity, QACC, etc.
  • Manage all aspects of project planning, design, development/implementation, testing, training, deployment, customer adoption, and operation turnover of the ITD initiatives.
  • Track assigned budget and resources for each project, prepare cost estimates and cost recommendations, and monitor expenditures.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and financial stewardship by being accountable for the financial integrity around development and maintenance of project budget.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Related Field or Equivalent Professional Experience.
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Strong functional understanding of hospital, clinic, and billing operations, as well as multi-hospital and large project management experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification and Scrum/Agile certification are preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of Healthcare Business and Care Delivery processes, as well as digital technology, clinical information systems, and how clinical information is integrated into the patient, consumer, and provider digital experience.
  • Experience in Project Management methodologies and tool sets, including waterfall/agile/scrum, planning, issue escalation, problem resolution, conflict and collision management, metrics and reporting, communications, etc.
  • Ability to manage business sponsor relationships and navigate the political landscape.
  • Understanding of Finance and Accounting principles in relation to project budgets, purchasing, and analysis of financial results.
  • Negotiation skills, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and decisiveness/ability to make a quick assessment of the scope of an issue and provide options for its closure.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, and Word, as well as in-depth knowledge of Information Systems (software, hardware, network) and architectural system components, business processes, and applications.
