Compensation Details:
$36.92 per hour

Incentives:
Up to $3,000.00 bonus

for candidates with CNA/EMT/ED Tech credentials and at least one year of relevant experience

as a new employee of EvergreenHealth.
Posted wage ranges reflect the spectrum from minimum to maximum.

For roles with multiple levels, the listed range indicates the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level.

Additional premiums may apply based on shift differentials, certifications, or educational qualifications. Job offers are influenced by a candidate's relevant experience, educational background, and internal equity.

Position Overview:
This role involves providing essential clinical support tasks as directed by the Emergency Department Physician and under the direct supervision of the Emergency Department Registered Nurse, alongside performing clerical duties related to order communication.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver direct patient assistance, aid in clinical procedures, and perform vital signs, venipunctures, and EKGs.
2. Offer indirect patient support, including room upkeep, inventory management, and ordering supplies to maintain stock levels.
3. Facilitate patient transport, run errands, and manage communication.
4. Uphold attendance, punctuality, and overall reliability standards.

5. Ensure effective execution and follow-through of all assigned tasks, completing responsibilities within agreed time frames.

6. Carry out duties in alignment with organizational policies, goals, and values.
7. Assume responsibility for the accountabilities associated with this role in support of the organization.
8. Perform additional tasks as required.

One of the following credentials is required at the time of hire:
- Washington State Nursing Assistant-Certified
- Washington State Nursing Assistant-Registered
- Washington State Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
- National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians

Certification as a Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist must be obtained within six months following successful completion of EvergreenHealth ED-specific training.
Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification is required by the date of hire.
Successful completion of EHMC ED-specific training within the probationary period is essential.
*Candidates with Washington State Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) credentials must acquire Washington State Nursing Assistant-Registered within 30 days of hire unless they will continue as an EMT with a qualified employer.
