Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Service Management Trainee to join our team at Discount Tire. As a Service Management Trainee, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and leading a team of technicians in a fast-paced service environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installs new tires and wheels with precision and attention to detail.
  • Manages new and existing inventory to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Leads a team of 4-5 technicians in a service environment, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Performs maintenance on tires, including rotations, balancing, repairs, and cleaning, to ensure vehicles are safe and running efficiently.
  • Provides a world-class customer service experience by responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Works 35+ hours per week during regular business hours, with flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • Participates in hands-on, on-the-job training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in tire and wheel services.
Requirements
  • Must have a leadership mindset and be able to motivate and guide a team.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to operate company vehicles safely.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent certification and be able to pass a background check.
  • Must be able to function well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
