Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Maintenance Technician to join our team at Indigo Real Estate. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties, providing excellent customer service, and performing a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to Maintenance Requests: Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests from residents and staff, ensuring that work orders are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to residents and staff, promoting a positive living experience and ensuring that their needs are met.
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular preventative maintenance tasks, including painting, to ensure that our properties are well-maintained and in good condition.
  • Diagnose and Repair Issues: Diagnose and repair issues with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, appliances, and other systems and equipment.
  • Inspect Buildings and Grounds: Inspect buildings and grounds to ensure that they are safe and clean, and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Work with Contractors: Work with outside contractors as needed to ensure that maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Perform Emergency Maintenance: Perform emergency maintenance tasks as required, including after-hours maintenance.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in property maintenance, with a focus on facilities maintenance and repair.
  • Painting Experience: Experience with painting and other maintenance tasks, including carpentry and drywall repair.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with residents, staff, and contractors.
  • Ability to Multi-Task: Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Current Driver's License: Current driver's license and proof of automobile insurance required.
