Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team at VCA Rose Hill Animal Hospital. As a key member of our veterinary support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including collecting patient histories, performing physical exams, and administering medications.
  • Diagnostic Support: Assist with diagnostic procedures, such as IVC placement, venipuncture, and dental radiographs.
  • Client Communication: Provide excellent client communication, including educating clients on their pets' health and treatment options.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in veterinary technology or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience as a veterinary technician or in a related field.
  • Certifications: Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification preferred.
