Key Responsibilities:

The Lead Automation Engineer will play a crucial role in programming, designing, and meticulously documenting the operational procedures for diagnosing and troubleshooting refrigeration systems and alarms. This position will also support the deployment team with processes that guarantee the seamless integration of our products and methodologies. A strong aptitude for accurately diagnosing and resolving electrical and control issues in commercial refrigeration systems is essential.

Primary Duties Include:

  • Developing software and tools tailored to meet product specifications and customer requirements (e.g., Copeland E2/3, Danfoss SM800A, Carel PR300, CPCO).
  • Collaborating with engineering teams to devise effective deployment strategies for product rollout.
  • Assisting in the creation of tools and features for customer system integration.
  • Designing troubleshooting frameworks for refrigeration systems and controls based on engineering applications.
  • Establishing testing sequences to systematically identify root causes of control alarms through elimination.
  • Independently formulating control strategies for refrigeration systems.
  • Continuously refining testing protocols based on feedback from field service engineers and warranty data.
  • Gathering, defining, and documenting customer requirements for control strategies and integration.
  • Recommending programming alarm thresholds to enhance the accuracy and utility of alarms for clients.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in programming, troubleshooting, and diagnosing electrical and control systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of refrigeration and HVAC fluid mechanics.
  • Experience in refrigeration controls programming and deployment.
  • Familiarity with integrating various customer interfacing systems.
