What we are looking for:


We are looking for a Control Engineer who will be responsible for supporting a cross functional organization focused on delivery of groundbreaking System Controls software and hardware solutions essential for driving the Commercial food and retail industries systems.


We are seeking motivated controls, software development, and technical professionals interested in new developments that help drive the food and retail industry into the next phase of improvements and change.

As a Controls engineer, you would be responsible for interfacing with mechanical engineering teams, product engineering teams, field support teams, and engineering leaders to drive controls solutions across all our applications and systems.


The software we deliver helps drive our systems and serves as the main interface for customers to determine system performance, communicate failures, drive efficiencies, and enable cost savings in their various applications.

You would also be responsible for developing processes, tools, features, and settings that ensure maximum efficiency of our systems and meet customer requirements.


What you'll be responsible for in this role:

  • Motivated individual with strong passion to learn, develop, and grow
  • Overview of software integration, deployment and applied controls
  • Ability to collect, define, and document customer requirements
  • Understanding of basic SLDC and team based software development practices
  • Experience with Process development and documentation
  • Knowledge and use of at least one version control system
  • Understanding of agile development practices
  • Prior experience with sensors, actuators, integrated controls, relay systems and other systems
What are the basic qualifications?

  • Bachelor of Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls Engineering
What are the preferred qualifications?

  • Experience with managing multiple stakeholders, project management experience
  • Experience with PLC controls and architectures
  • Any Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) programming experience
  • Experience with Hardware integration, microprocessor integration
  • Experience in Cloud Infrastructure and IOT
  • Experience with calibration development or system configuration processes
  • Prior refrigeration experience
