Job Title: Senior Controls Engineer

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Controls Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing, programming, and documenting the operation of our refrigeration systems and controls.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop programs and tools to meet product and customer needs, including Copeland E2/3, Danfoss SM800A, and Carel PR300/CPCO.
  • Collaborate with engineers to develop key deployment strategies and ensure seamless product integration.
  • Assist in the development of tools and features for customer system integration.
  • Design troubleshooting trees for refrigeration systems and controls, based on engineering applications.
  • Develop sequencing and testing methods to identify root causes of controls alarms.
  • Independently develop controls strategies for refrigeration systems.
  • Continuously improve testing sequences based on field service engineer feedback and warranty data.
  • Collect, define, document, and apply customer requirements for controls strategy and integration.
  • Make recommendations for controls programming alarm thresholds to improve accuracy and usefulness.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience programming, troubleshooting, and diagnosing electrical and controls systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of refrigeration and HVAC fluid mechanics.
  • Refrigeration controls programming and deployment experience.
  • Controls integration of different customer interfacing systems.
