Position Summary
We are seeking a Technical Sales Consultant to spearhead our initiatives in cultivating and sustaining relationships with key stakeholders, including specifying engineers, architects, and property managers, as well as end-user clients in the Southeast region, particularly focusing on Florida and Georgia. This role involves advocating for our comprehensive range of products, solutions, and services to elevate brand recognition and drive sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with industry influencers and end users to ensure our product offerings are specified and utilized effectively.
- Develop and maintain detailed specification documentation and marketing materials to assist stakeholders in understanding and utilizing our products.
- Collaborate with the Sales Support Team to introduce new products to the market and our distribution channels.
- Work closely with Regional Sales Managers to lead sales initiatives targeting influencers and end-user clients.
- Utilize online sales tools to identify and pursue new project opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and outcomes using our CRM system.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment and support in achieving sales objectives.
- Meet established targets for sales performance and market specifications.
- Continuously assess and validate the needs of influencers and end-user clients.
- Achieve sales quotas and strategic objectives as defined by management.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction in line with company standards.
- Complete all required training and development within designated timeframes.
- Demonstrate potential for growth into more complex roles over time.
- Balance strategic thinking with effective execution in all sales activities.
Qualifications
- Reside in a major city within the designated territory, preferably Florida, with a strong understanding of the local market.
- A minimum of a four-year degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
- At least five years of experience in HVAC and/or Building Automation System sales.
- Experience in sales management within a business-to-business context, particularly with Engineers and Architects.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general computer skills.
- Willingness to travel as required, holding a valid driver's license and passport.
- Ability to maintain a home-based office if necessary.
