ROLE OVERVIEW
The Member Service Representative is responsible for executing a range of financial transactions for members, both in-person and through various communication channels. This includes managing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other monetary services. The role requires balancing daily transactions and ensuring accurate cash handling. Additionally, the representative will assist members with account management and provide support for various financial inquiries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide exceptional service to members in a professional manner.
  • Process deposits, loan payments, and other financial transactions efficiently.
  • Verify and monitor transaction accuracy, ensuring compliance with policies.
  • Assist members with account openings, closures, and maintenance.
  • Promote and explain Credit Union products and services to meet member needs.
  • Perform additional clerical and administrative tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Knowledge:
Familiarity with teller operations and financial institution procedures is essential.

Experience:
Prior experience in a similar role is preferred, with a focus on customer service in financial settings.

Skills:
Strong communication abilities, professional demeanor, and proficiency in numerical tasks.
Ability to utilize various office equipment and software applications effectively.
