Position Overview

Life-Science Innovations, LLC is in search of a reliable and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Senior Maintenance Supervisor.

The Senior Maintenance Supervisor is tasked with overseeing the functionality and upkeep of all operational equipment and facilities, while also managing maintenance personnel effectively.

Candidates must possess extensive knowledge of incubation and hatching machinery, along with the ability to service and maintain essential equipment. A thorough understanding of all operational processes is crucial, particularly regarding factors that influence hatchability, quality of output, and associated costs.

This role requires analytical thinking to identify and resolve mechanical issues that may hinder operational efficiency. The Senior Maintenance Supervisor will explore innovative mechanical solutions and guide maintenance staff in equipment repair and upkeep.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on operational equipment, including incubators, hatchers, ventilation systems, and automation technology.
  • Implement preventive maintenance strategies to reduce downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Oversee routine maintenance of the facility, including control systems and robotic machinery.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and execute corrective measures swiftly.
  • Monitor environmental conditions to ensure optimal settings for hatchability and quality.
  • Prepare equipment for new operations and ensure all necessary profiles are established.
  • Maintain an inventory of spare parts and tools, ensuring readiness for maintenance tasks.
  • Follow safety regulations to create a secure working environment for all personnel.
  • Assist in scheduling work and assigning projects to maintenance staff.
  • Collaborate with management and team members to enhance operational performance.
  • Focus on adhering to budgetary constraints for maintenance and repairs.
  • Document maintenance actions, equipment performance, and repairs for future reference and analysis.
  • Engage in training programs to improve technical skills and stay informed on industry advancements.
  • Support the development of maintenance staff, providing guidance and oversight.
  • Ensure daily operational tasks are completed efficiently.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance within a similar industry.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a maintenance and repair capacity.
  • Relevant technical certifications (e.g., Boiler license, advanced vocational training in mechanical fields) are required.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is mandatory.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
Work Schedule:
  • Core business hours: 48-hour work weeks with varying shifts.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
