Compensation: $60-80K

Overview:

The Maintenance Supervisor is tasked with overseeing all aspects of facility and equipment upkeep, including preventive measures, installation, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, oversee, and execute maintenance activities for the facility, grounds, and all machinery.
  • Identify and rectify equipment issues, covering structural, mechanical, electrical, PLC, fabrication, and boiler systems.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and organize storage, coordinating the procurement of necessary equipment and supplies.
  • Assess and prioritize maintenance tasks, delegating projects to maintenance technicians as needed.
  • Establish and uphold effective Preventative Maintenance programs.
  • Recruit, guide, mentor, and manage all maintenance staff.
  • Collaborate with various departments to pinpoint and resolve issues, enhancing overall plant efficiency.
  • Monitor operational metrics such as boiler pressures, water flow rates, air quality, and cooling tower performance.
  • Implement safety and compliance programs to ensure the long-term secure operation of the facility.
  • Adhere to all organizational, state, and federal safety regulations and policies.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies that could enhance plant operations.
  • Assist the Maintenance Manager with equipment and process modifications as required.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5-10 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
  • 2-3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience in food manufacturing is essential.
  • Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in various computer software applications.
