Role Responsibilities

This Senior Electrical Project Supervisor will lead hands-on industrial control field installation projects with a team of six or fewer. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring a safe working environment for all team members while adhering to OSHA and EOSYS safety protocols.
  • Collaborating with project stakeholders to develop work plans, schedules, and employee assignments, emphasizing quality, efficiency, and professional development.
  • Demonstrating expertise in the operation and installation of comprehensive wiring systems within industrial facilities.
  • Interpreting and applying National Electrical Code, local regulations, building plans, blueprints, wiring diagrams, engineering schematics, and trade calculations.
  • Maintaining organization on job sites and managing project-related tools and inventory. Assisting in troubleshooting electrical components, instrumentation, and control system setups.
  • Documenting daily activities and tasks for each project.
  • Proactively identifying potential issues and developing effective solutions.
  • Working at or above the journeyman level to effectively mentor team members.
  • Coordinating the transportation of personnel, tools, and materials.
  • Serving as the primary customer liaison for project planning and execution as necessary.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a two-year technical program, trade school, electrical journeyman certification, contractor's license, or similar industry credentials.
  • OSHA 10- or 30-Hour Training and Safety certification.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Industrial electrical maintenance
    • Industrial electrical construction and/or service
    • OEM experience with major manufacturing firms
    • System Integration and/or Automation equipment installation
  • Ability to obtain Master Electrician or Electrical Contractor certification within one year of employment.
Essential Skills
  • Project management capabilities.
  • Work planning proficiency.
  • Ability to provide technical guidance and feedback.
  • Familiarity with electrical codes (e.g., NEC, NFPA).
  • Competence in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and control diagrams.
  • Strong electrical fundamentals.
  • Mechanical and layout skills related to enclosures, conduit, and tray.

  • Must be physically capable of operating company vehicles and equipment safely.
Work Schedule

Willingness to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary. Flexibility is often required for short-notice schedule changes. Regular travel and overnight stays may be necessary for out-of-town projects.
