Schneider Electric North America Operations Power Systems Division offers an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to take on the role of Project Engineering Supervisor.

Position Overview:

The Project Engineering Supervisor is tasked with guiding a team that converts client specifications into comprehensive electrical designs, producing deliverables such as one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, control schematics, wiring layouts, 3D harnesses, and bills of materials.

The supported products are intricate, engineered-to-order (customized) medium voltage electrical distribution, protection, and control apparatus. These solutions are utilized to distribute electrical power from utilities and generators to various settings, including industrial facilities, water/wastewater treatment plants, and data centers.

The team also plays a crucial role in delivering comprehensive customer support. This includes consulting on product applications and solutions with end users, consultants, and contractors, as well as collaborating with Schneider Electric's sales, quotation, and project execution teams. Close cooperation with factory support functions (production, supply chain, purchasing, and customer service) is essential to ensure an optimal customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the functional supervisor for a team of electrical engineers, electrical designers, SEE Electrical 3D Panel+ engineers, or manufacturing liaisons.
  • Oversee the workload and capacity of the department.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to ensure quality, efficiency, productivity, reuse, and on-time performance KPIs are met.
  • Guarantee technical quality and service levels (drawings, BOM, services).
  • Ensure adherence to enrichment and utilization rules for re-use systems.
  • Maintain compliance with project objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in design activities regarding technical knowledge, efficiency, processes, and quality.
  • Collaborate with Design Engineering and Technical Antenna teams to uphold design intent and safety standards.
  • Actively participate in SIM meetings, representing the engineering team to manufacturing.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in engineering.
  • 5 years of professional experience in a related field.
  • Proven ability to effectively lead a team of engineers and designers in a manufacturing setting.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to de-escalate challenges from both external (customer) and internal sources.

Reporting Structure:
