Role Summary: The Technical Program Manager (TPM) will spearhead the enterprise initiative focused on compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) for the Core Payments Network, Issuing, and Acquiring functions. This role will also extend support to assessment activities in other designated areas, collaborating with diverse teams across the Technology sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Articulate project goals, scope, and outcomes to senior leadership, effectively conveying the potential implications of control deficiencies.
- Guide internal teams on necessary actions to mitigate risks, including assisting in documenting alternative strategies that align with security objectives.
- Ensure that remedial actions or decisions taken to address deficiencies are suitable and accurately reported.
- Facilitate the collection and organization of evidence and other relevant artifacts.
- Monitor and document identified risks and dependencies, generating comprehensive reports.
- Collaborate with Global Network Services Technology (GNST) and the enterprise to aid in the prioritization during Planning Increment (PI) sessions for multiple development workstreams.
- Guarantee the efficient execution of assigned project tasks in accordance with professional standards and timelines.
- Support process enhancement initiatives for the PCI Program Management Office (PMO) in response to findings from internal and external evaluations.
- Engage in regular communication and collaboration with key stakeholders, including vendor partners and internal teams.
- Produce high-quality documentation and presentations suitable for executive review.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of Technology operations and tech stack across GNST, Global Infrastructure (GI), and Technology Risk & Information Security (TRIS), with support from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) within the team.
- Familiarity with PI planning, including product prioritization and engineering capacity, along with excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Experience interacting with all levels of personnel, including senior leadership.
- Ability to interpret technology gap findings and translate high-level directives into actionable plans to gather evidence and close gaps.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Over 9 years of relevant experience in compliance and risk management within Information Security or related fields.
- Demonstrated project or program management experience.
- Experience leading complex data requests in collaboration with various Information Technology SMEs.
- Proven ability to manage relationships with multiple SMEs across an organization.
- Experience with Risk Programs and/or PCI DSS.
- Track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring ownership of core tasks.
- Exemplary integrity, innovation, and excellence in previous roles.
