Senior Technical Support Engineer

GTN Technical Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Support Engineer to join our team. As a trusted advisor to our clients, you will be responsible for providing dedicated support, troubleshooting technical product issues, and developing workarounds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert technical support, including responding to escalated tickets and developing workarounds.
  • Act as the primary technical liaison to our clients, ensuring optimized usage of their products.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to help clients effectively use our products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Services, Engineering, and Marketing, to drive business growth.
  • Contribute to product direction and provide input on feature development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 5-10 years of EDA/HPC cluster deployment and support experience.
  • Strong computer science and systems-level knowledge, including networking, operating systems, and high availability.
  • Excellent analytical and debugging skills, with proficiency in Linux shell scripting.
  • Excellent communication, people, time management, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • C, C++, and Tcl experience.
  • Experience with workload management/job scheduling software in an HPC/EDA environment.
