At Diamond Credit Union, we're committed to delivering exceptional member service experiences that exceed expectations. As a Member Advocate - Retail, you'll play a critical role in handling member requests related to Credit Union products and services, while deepening existing member account relationships through cross-selling and referring Diamond's products and services at all member touch points.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively handle member inquiries, questions, complaints, and conflicts pertaining to their accounts.
  • Support branch development initiatives, execute assigned branch development tactics, and meet individual goals.
  • Maintain and deepen current account relationships through cross-selling, understanding how to present features, benefits, and value to members with differing needs.
  • Demonstrate excellence in service, meeting and exceeding members' expectations, and providing the 'wow' member experience.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated dedication to positive, member-focused service.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Available to work Thursday until 7:15 PM and Friday until 6:15 PM on a rotation basis.
  • Ability to travel between branches.

Education/Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Two plus years of customer service experience, preferably within a financial institution.
