About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Administrative Specialist to join our team at Georgia-Pacific. As an Administrative Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the smooth operation of our business by providing administrative support to various departments and teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communication and Customer Service: Provide direct communication with individuals at all levels within the organization, respond to and resolve inquiries from internal and external customers, and promote transformation by supporting innovation and experimentation.
  • Operations Support: Support operations in various tasks, including inventory management, wood deliveries, vendor and customer maintenance, AP support, and maintaining contracts to ensure compliance and upkeep through effective and timely communications.
  • Administrative Support: Provide backup support for others on the team, maintain accurate records, and perform other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in an administrative support role or customer service role, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and experience with records information management, invoice platforms, and contract maintenance.
