Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Nurse to join our team at Southern Medical Management LLC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients under the supervision of our Nurse Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain and verify patient health history, gathering pertinent health data through physical assessments and biological samples.
  • Provide basic patient care as ordered, administering medications and treatments as directed.
  • Assist other healthcare professionals in performing exams, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.
  • Document assessments, interventions, patient/family responses, and medication dispensed/prescribed, and test results in medical records.
  • Answer incoming phone calls, on a rotational basis, in support of the Nurse Phone Triage Unit.
  • Promote wellness by providing patient education materials and communicating physician advice/instructions.
Requirements
  • State-licensed registered or practical nurse.
  • Professional customer service skills.
  • Skilled in effective written and verbal communications.
  • Ability to multi-task, including skills in organizing and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Ability to flexibly respond to changing demands.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member with physicians and other clinical staff.
