**Pediatric Nursing Opportunity**

The Kidz Club PPEC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Specialist to join our team.

As a Pediatric Nurse Specialist, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to children with medical complexities, ages birth to under 21.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Provide skilled nursing care to pediatric patients, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Educate clients and families on pediatric care and management of medical conditions.
  • Work under the direction of a Registered Nurse, utilizing a holistic approach to address the child's educational, psychosocial, behavioral, physical, mental, and emotional needs.

**Requirements:**

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current LPN licensure in the state of Kentucky.
  • Recent graduate with a provisional license.
  • Basic personal computer skills and comfort with learning electronic charting systems.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Six months of experience as a practicing LPN with pediatric experience.
  • Current negative Tuberculosis skin test (PPD) required.
  • Current CPR (Basic Life Support) is required.

**Work Schedule:**

Monday - Friday (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM)

Saturday (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM)

The Kidz Club PPEC provides daily skilled nursing care for children, ages birth to under 21, who have been diagnosed with medical complexities.

PPECs initiate daily conversation among pediatricians, therapists, and family, providing continuity of care through case management, skilled nursing, and enrichment for the betterment of the child.
