Key Responsibilities:

Your Role:

  • Ensure that all vehicles are equipped with the necessary toll tags.
  • Maintain efficient processes to reduce waste, minimize fraud risk, and ensure complete toll recovery.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and communicate these to the Asset Compliance Leadership team.
  • Review transponder usage to detect fraud and manage the removal of transponders from vehicles that are sold, transferred, or damaged.
  • Assist in managing the payment of approximately $20 million annually in transponder and toll fees, ensuring timely payments and proper cost controls.
  • Handle inquiries related to tolls, weigh stations, and permits, providing assistance as needed.
  • Research and ensure the payment of toll violations, maintaining compliance.
  • Collaborate with Driver Leaders to enhance driver understanding of toll processes and compliance regulations.
  • Work with the tax department to ensure compliance with toll and mileage regulations in specific states.
  • Support the renewal of annual fleet permits by maintaining a comprehensive database of state permits and their expiration dates.
  • Manage a database of state bonds and renewal dates, coordinating with the insurance team for necessary updates.
  • Assist with inquiries regarding international loads and new customs requirements.
  • Distribute annual permits and insurance to terminals and driver managers, ensuring proper follow-up.
  • Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and collaboration to meet business objectives.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications:

What You Need:

  • 1-2 years of experience in an office setting. Familiarity with AS400 is a plus but not mandatory. Previous experience in the trucking industry is advantageous but not essential.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational, communication (both oral and written), and customer service skills are crucial.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, along with familiarity with basic office equipment (copy machines, fax machines, telephones).

Compensation:

$27.52 per hour
