Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients and their international parent companies on accounting, payroll, and administrative functions in the U.S.
- Accurately record all financial transactions (cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general journal entries, etc.) using accounting software.
- Finalize clients' financial records and generate financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annually).
- Register clients for necessary employer withholding, unemployment, and sales tax accounts.
- Prepare and file sales and use tax returns.
- Manage payroll processing through online platforms such as ADP and Paychex.
- Compile data and prepare Forms 1099.
- Gather information for property tax returns.
- Prepare documentation for Form 1042 submissions.
- Assist in preparing quarterly tax estimates and income tax returns.
- Support client bank deposits, vendor payments, and tax obligations.
- Investigate technical issues and consult with management for further direction.
- Undertake additional related tasks as required.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in a public accounting setting, with a focus on financial statement preparation and client communication.
- Proficient in MS Excel and MS Outlook, with a working knowledge of MS Word and Adobe applications.

Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in the German language is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Quickbooks, SAGE, Navision (Microsoft Dynamics), ProAlpha, Datev, or SAP.
