Position Overview

Community Behavioral Health is looking for an experienced System Administrator to manage and enhance our operational infrastructure. This role involves overseeing our server environments, storage solutions, backups, and virtualized systems across various locations, including our data center and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills to resolve complex system issues, ensuring the security and integrity of our data while adhering to industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of server infrastructure technology.
  • Conduct technical assessments with vendors and engineering teams to evaluate system performance and scalability.
  • Execute system upgrades, refreshes, and operating system installations.
  • Lead initiatives to address and mitigate system security vulnerabilities.
  • Manage the deployment of Windows Updates and other remediation efforts.
  • Standardize firmware deployments across all infrastructure hardware.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operational levels.
  • Ensure daily monitoring of backups and system integrity.
  • Implement and manage software and hardware solutions to maintain data security.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for complex system issues.
  • Develop and maintain system architecture documentation.
  • Integrate new technologies into existing infrastructure.
  • Establish and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
  • Provide expert-level support for incidents and problems within designated areas.
Qualifications
  • A degree in IT or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Technology Infrastructure.
  • Proficient in VMware and enterprise virtualized environments.
  • Strong knowledge of system, network, and data center operations.
  • Experience with backup strategies and disaster recovery processes.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Visual Basic and PowerShell.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call and weekend rotations.
