Position Summary: Community Behavioral Health is in search of a skilled System Administrator to facilitate, manage, and supervise the daily functions of our IT infrastructure. This encompasses a range of components including servers, storage solutions, backups, enterprise applications, and virtualized environments across our data centers, cloud systems, and remote locations. The System Administrator will address a variety of intricate system challenges to maintain the security and integrity of our systems and data, adhering to industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design, planning, implementation, and maintenance of the server infrastructure technology stack.
- Collaborate with vendors and engineering teams to conduct system modeling, capacity planning, and performance management.
- Manage infrastructure upgrades, system refreshes, and operating system updates.
- Lead initiatives to identify and mitigate system security vulnerabilities.
- Ensure optimal performance levels through continuous monitoring and tuning of systems.
- Guarantee the integrity and security of server and workstation data through effective software and hardware solutions.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for complex system issues.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system architecture and design.
- Implement disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
- Deliver Tier 3 support for incidents and problems within designated areas of expertise.
Qualifications:
- A degree in IT or a related field is preferred, but extensive relevant experience will also be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Technology Infrastructure.
- Proficient in VMware and experience in enterprise virtualized environments.
- Strong knowledge of system, network, and data center operations.
- Familiarity with backup strategies and disaster recovery methods.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Visual Basic and PowerShell.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical staff and management.
