Key Responsibilities- Oversee and manage the Microsoft Azure cloud environment, focusing on provisioning, configuration, performance oversight, policy governance, and security measures.
- Architect, develop, and deploy resilient, multi-region solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
- Review current operational standards and processes to identify areas for enhancement and implement necessary changes.
- Transition existing infrastructure services to cloud-based platforms.
- Administer security and access controls for cloud-based solutions.
- Establish and enforce policy-driven data protection best practices to safeguard cloud solutions against data loss.
- Assist in the cloud adoption process for applications undergoing transformation or modernization.
- Ensure all infrastructure components adhere to performance and capacity benchmarks.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to manage and resolve technical escalations.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience with Microsoft Azure, including design, deployment, configuration, and optimization.
- Proven experience in designing and managing medium to large-scale enterprise infrastructure, databases, and application systems.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl, Python, and PowerShell.
- Familiarity with GIT for source code management.
- Experience with Terraform Cloud and Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of Jira and ServiceNow.
- Comprehensive understanding of IT disciplines, including networking, systems administration, data protection, information security, and CI/CD tools.
- A proactive learner with the capability to mentor colleagues and cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong attention to detail.
