About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Parts Management Professional to join our team as a Heavy Truck Parts Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the accurate receipt and storage of parts, minimizing obsolescence and ensuring compliance with OEM standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and organization of parts to ensure accurate inventory levels and minimize obsolescence.
  • Vendor Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors, both internal and external, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of parts.
  • Ordering and Procurement: Order non-stocked parts from the factory, other dealerships, and reputable parts suppliers as required, ensuring compliance with OEM standards.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Manage all necessary paperwork and documentation, ensuring compliance with reporting and record-keeping standards.
  • Staff Development: Motivate and develop staff through coaching, mentoring, and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in automotive parts management, with a proven track record of success.
  • Skills: Proficient in inventory control, pricing strategies, and comprehensive auto parts management. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, essential for maintaining productive vendor and customer relationships.
  • Technical: Proficiency in computer processing, including spreadsheet and database tools.
