Key Responsibilities
  • Risk Assessments and Other Security-Related Work
    • Lead and conduct security risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
    • Develop risk assessment reports to provide actionable recommendations for mitigation and remediation.
    • Project manage security-related tasks for clients, including security technology design and integration, security vendor management, and policy and procedure development.
  • Facilitate Training, Meetings, and Events
    • Participate in instructor certification programs to learn and develop training materials for security awareness, active threat response, workplace violence prevention, and other certified courses.
    • Facilitate training sessions for clients and stakeholders, including general security awareness, security protocols, and emergency response procedures.
    • Prepare for, coordinate, and facilitate meetings with clients and stakeholders to discuss security-related matters.
  • Quality, Compliance, and Ethics
    • Lead Armada Ltd's business efforts related to compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, rules, laws, and regulations.
    • Monitor and investigate reports related to quality, compliance, and ethics, and conduct interviews, review evidence/information, and draft comprehensive administrative audit reports.
    • Provide investigative support for both external (clients) and internal (Armada Ltd) allegations.
  • Overhead Work and Facility Security Clearance Support
    • Travel to client locations, seminars, events, and meetings as a representative of Armada Ltd's senior leadership team to support business development, maintain or foster client relationships, and partnership building.
    • Collaborate with organizational leadership to formalize standards that support company goals, augment operations, and foster a safe and secure environment.
    • Train and mentor project managers and site leads on Armada Ltd policies, procedures, and business practices, and provide supervision and evaluate their performance.
    • Serve as an assistant facility security officer.
  • Business Development
    • Understand how to successfully network and develop working relationships with key individuals within the company, as well as clients, subcontractors, and partner organizations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or 8 years of experience.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years in the security industry, law enforcement, and/or military.
  • Five (5) years of general management experience.
  • Proven success in mentoring and developing personnel and managing team performance.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
