Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Administrator to join our team at YAI. As a key member of our healthcare operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our patients receive exceptional care and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our call center, ensuring that all systems and workflows are functioning properly.
  • Review and analyze provider schedules to ensure optimal utilization and minimize no-shows.
  • Conduct regular quality assurance checks on call center recordings to ensure compliance with our quality standards.
  • Supervise and train call center staff to ensure they are providing excellent customer service.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to the Director of Clinical Operations, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with our administrative team and practice administrators to optimize provider schedules and improve patient flow.
  • Address patient complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide regular supervision and coaching to our Patient Services Specialists to ensure they are meeting their performance goals.
  • Ensure that our call center queue is operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Review and analyze patient surveys to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance patient satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain provider templates and ensure they are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Work closely with our IT department to ensure that all systems are operational and functioning properly.
  • Participate in clinic operations meetings to ensure that all teams are aligned and working towards common goals.
  • Provide regular updates to the Director of Clinical Operations and Executive Director on key performance metrics and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience in healthcare administration or a related field, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Experience supervising teams and managing day-to-day operations.
  • Ability to understand and operate necessary computer equipment and software programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
