Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and approachable Facilities & Office Manager to enhance our operational capabilities. As an essential member of our Operations team, your main duty will be to manage and refine our physical workspace, ensuring that our facilities align with our company's growth and innovative spirit. Your Profile

Key Responsibilities

The primary focus of this role is to oversee and sustain all facets of our physical Microfactory, ensuring a safe, efficient, and productive environment. You will collaborate with various teams, particularly in hardware, product, and operations, to bring the world's first 3D woven products to market.

  • Manage daily operations of the Hollis Microfactory, including maintenance, safety, organization, and security, adhering to a 7:30am - 4:30pm schedule.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for facility enhancements, repairs, and installations.
  • Establish and implement systems to maintain optimal factory organization, ensuring designated spaces for all items.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and implement best practices for a secure working environment.
  • Support the setup and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
  • Assist with space planning and office relocations as necessary.
  • Oversee facility budgets and work to optimize operational expenses.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in office management or facility oversight, preferably with hardware warehouse exposure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery setup.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; teamwork is essential.
  • Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Demonstrated experience in facility management, particularly in manufacturing or R&D settings.
  • Familiarity with building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Ability to quickly and effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $71,000 - $80,000 USD annually, with equity options ranging from 0.01% to 0.02%, depending on experience.
