We are dedicated to enhancing a suite of core applications and data services utilized by multiple government entities.

This role entails the responsibility of planning and estimating staffing requirements, software licensing, and hosting capacities for upcoming projects and capabilities.

As a supervisor, you will manage a team of 5-7 direct reports, conducting performance evaluations, guiding engineering career development, participating in technical interviews for new hires, overseeing Agile Delivery processes (Jira), and approving timesheets on an ongoing basis.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Clearance: Must be SCI Eligible and willing to undergo a polygraph examination.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
  • Certifications: Must currently possess or be able to obtain certifications including:
  • DoD 8570 IAT II and CSSP Infrastructure Support certifications (CompTIA CySA+ preferred or equivalent certifications that meet both requirements acceptable such as Security+ and Cloud+) within 30 days of contract initiation.
  • Location: Full-time on-site position.
  • Experience:
  • A minimum of 12 years of relevant technical experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience leading AWS Cloud modernization initiatives, monitoring, and support.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Linux engineering and production delivery.
  • At least 4 years of experience managing Agile engineering programs for government clients, including planning, assigning, and coordinating engineering tasks.
  • At least 4 years of experience in classified government environments.
  • Familiarity with modern architectures, including cloud solutions, application development environments, relational databases, scripting, and data source integration.
  • Experience in provisioning, configuring, and managing development, testing, and production environments.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming or scripting languages (Java, Python, PHP, JavaScript, BASH, PowerShell).
  • Experience in requirements traceability, documenting technical architectures, securely configuring technology stacks, and planning and integrating new capabilities.
  • Experience with Government Assessment and Authorization (A&A) following the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Strong communication skills and regular interaction with Program Managers and Government Leadership.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Desired Clearance: Active SCI with Polygraph.
  • Desired Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
  • Desired Certifications: Active CompTIA CySA+ or equivalent certifications covering both DoD 8570 IAT II and CSSP Infrastructure Support. Computing Environment certification such as AWS or Linux certifications.
  • Experience:
  • 4 years of experience in designing and deploying Elastic data services.
  • AWS C2S delivery experience.
  • Experience providing systems engineering, integration, and architecture support to intelligence community clients.
  • Technical management experience, including supervision, performance reviews, and career development.
  • Cybersecurity experience supporting threat analysts, vulnerability analysts, and information assurance teams.
