Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Management
    • Process and administer payroll for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate payment
    • Handle payroll-related queries and resolve any discrepancies
    • Accurately process timecards on a weekly basis
    • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including tax filings and reporting
    • Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management
    • Work with Unanet time keeping system and ADP payroll service
  • Accounts Payable
    • Invoice Processing
      • Review, verify, and process 2-way and 3-way match vouchers for accuracy and completeness
      • Match purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoices
      • Code electronic invoices with the correct general ledger account numbers and cost centers
      • Resolve invoice discrepancies and issues with vendors and employees
  • Compliance and Reporting
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS), and regulatory requirements
    • Stay updated on changes in accounting and payroll regulations and advise management on necessary adjustments
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in general accounting and payroll processing
  • Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis
  • Familiar with Adobe Acrobat Standard
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance
  • May require light physical effort, involving standing, sitting and use of hands while performing duties, carrying or lifting up to 15 pounds
  • Working environment is indoor, moderately quiet, reasonably clean, well-lighted and well-ventilated

Compensation

Salary at SARA Inc. is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,000 to $70,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of SARA's total compensation package for employees.
