Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable and Payroll Specialist to join our team at the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee. This full-time, non-exempt position will work 40 hours per week and is eligible for the Annual Incentive Award Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Audit expense reports and ensure expenses follow USOPC policies
  • Process bi-weekly payroll for over 500 employees
  • Collect and summarize timekeeping information
  • Manage both incoming and outgoing messages in the payroll inbox
  • Process wire transfers and resolve bank-rejected employee payments
  • Process newly hired employees in the payroll system
  • Maintain and update payroll toolbox guidelines and procedures
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience and computerized accounting systems
  • 2-3 years of experience processing payroll with an HRMS or equivalent
  • General knowledge of accounting and payroll methods, procedures, and terms
  • Detail-oriented with accurate data entry skills
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook
  • Proficient with navigation within system applications
  • Proficient with Excel, formulas, and pivot tables
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Purchase order experience
Work Environment

This hub-based role will work regularly from our Downtown Colorado Springs Headquarters.
