About the Role

Cumulus Media is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Multimedia Sales Representative to join our team in Savannah. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, growing existing client relationships, and delivering effective multi-platform sales presentations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Needs Identification: Develop a deep understanding of client business needs, goals, objectives, and processes to proactively develop solutions that meet client objectives.
  • Multi-Platform Sales Presentations: Deliver effective sales presentations that showcase the value of our multimedia offerings, including broadcast, digital, events, and more.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Become a subject matter expert in digital assets, such as streaming, station websites, and social advertising, as well as digital audience extension products.
  • Prospecting and Sales: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through networking, cold calling, canvassing, referrals, and other means to build and maintain a full pipeline of sales prospects.
  • Order Management and Reporting: Prepare orders, resolve billing issues, and submit regular sales reports, pipeline lists, forecasts, and competitive analysis.
  • Industry Knowledge and Innovation: Stay up-to-date on the competitive landscape and emerging technologies to think creatively and generate original ideas.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-3 years of successful outside sales experience, with a strong understanding of media sales.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong lead generation skills, ability to connect with viable prospects, and comprehension of sales metrics and requirements.
  • Tech Savviness: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs, social networking platforms, and CRM tools/software platforms.
  • Personal Qualities: Positive attitude, passion for the job, flexibility, and creativity.
