Key Responsibilities
Procurement Activities:
- Evaluate or generate purchase requisitions and identify suitable suppliers when none are specified.
- Issue purchase orders to chosen suppliers and monitor POs to guarantee timely or early delivery of products and services.
- Receive orders from various stakeholders in both digital and physical formats.
Enhancement of Procurement Processes:
- Continuously assess and refine the procurement process for improved efficiency, accuracy, and cost savings.
- Remain informed about industry trends and advancements in procurement technologies.
Supplier Relationship Management:
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with suppliers to ensure prompt delivery, quality assurance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Engage in negotiations with suppliers to secure advantageous terms, pricing, and contracts.
- Assist in the preparation of RFPs and RFQs as necessary, collaborating with subject matter experts.
- Support the management of Supplier Agreements with key suppliers, ensuring adherence to their terms and conditions.
Collaboration Across Functions:
- Collaborate closely with various departments, including engineering, finance, operations, IT, and manufacturing, to understand their procurement requirements.
- Act as an ERP superuser to ensure the seamless operation of the system and maintain up-to-date master data.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Work in conjunction with Finance to ensure proper invoice management.
- Accept additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement sourcing and supplier management.
- Demonstrated success in managing the procure-to-pay process, preferably within the electromechanical sector.
- Experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology industries is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with procurement software such as SAP Concur is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications and tools.
- Strong organizational capabilities and attention to detail.
