Quality Assurance Engineer at Magna International Inc.

Job Overview: This position is integral to ensuring the highest standards of quality in our automotive products. The role involves direct engagement with customer feedback and internal quality alerts to maintain excellence in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that all information regarding defects and customer feedback is communicated effectively to the automotive division.
  • Review internal quality issues and ensure thorough passdowns between shifts.
  • Participate in meetings to discuss quality concerns and ensure clear communication of issues.
  • Investigate customer complaints to ascertain whether they are related to internal processes or external factors.
  • Provide insights on potential quality concerns at customer sites.
  • Manage containment processes for any non-conforming products identified at customer locations.
  • Balance and meet the goals of customers, employees, and investors as the Quality Lead Resident Engineer.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the automotive sector, with a solid understanding of Body in White (BIW) fit and function.
  • Knowledge in die processes, assembly tooling, welding and sealing applications, data analysis, and customer tolerancing concepts is essential.

Compensation range: $70,000 - $80,000
