Key Responsibilities:- Ensure that information regarding defects and customer feedback is communicated effectively to the relevant teams.
- Review internal quality alerts and previous shift communications to maintain quality standards.
- Participate in meetings to discuss quality issues and ensure clear communication.
- Investigate customer concerns to determine the root cause and whether the issue is internal or related to external factors.
- Provide insights on potential quality concerns at customer locations.
- Manage containment procedures for non-conforming products identified at customer sites.
- Balance and meet the goals of customers, employees, and investors as the Quality Lead Resident Engineer.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience in the automotive industry, with a strong understanding of body-in-white (BIW) fit and function.
- Knowledge in die processes, assembly tooling, welding and sealing applications, data analysis, and customer specifications.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities.
- Proven leadership capabilities.
