Position SummaryThe Press Operator (Level 1) plays a crucial role in supporting the Team Leader and Supervisor in managing the Press Line during their designated shift.
This position is essential in ensuring that the objectives of our Customers, Employees, and Investors are effectively balanced and achieved.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Team Leader in all job aspects to guarantee the Press Line operates at peak efficiency.
- Adhere to safe work practices at all times, ensuring that Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is utilized by all team members on the line.
- Support the Team Leader in training new team members.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the department.
- Ensure compliance with work instructions and quality standards.
- Follow all relevant B.O.S. and ISO procedures as applicable.
- Assist the Team Leader with daily SAP and inventory management.
A high school diploma or GED is required, along with one to three months of experience in a manufacturing setting.
Preferred qualifications include prior experience in a press shop and familiarity with operating a Press line. The ideal candidate should demonstrate leadership qualities, reliability, and trustworthiness.
