Job Description

Vanir Construction Management is seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to lead our water and wastewater infrastructure projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite leadership and coordination for construction management activities
  • Supervise field administrative staff, Field/Project Engineers, and/or assistant Construction Managers
  • Administer all aspects of a successful water and/or wastewater project, including providing professional services as an Owner Representative
  • Coordinate and administer compliance, process requests for information, submittals, invoices, billing, change orders, schedules, estimates, and work plans through project completion
  • Ensure contractors, architects, and engineers adhere to contractual requirements on areas of safety, performance, project staff, and equipment
  • Participate in project closeout processes and manage documentation to ensure punch list resolution and to secure guarantees, warranties, as-builts, and related provisions for handover to project owner

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent
  • 5-10 years of experience as a field Construction Manager supervising staff
  • Construction Management experience on projects valued at $30M and greater
  • On-site experience managing the construction of water and/or wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, storage facilities, and conveyance pipelines
  • Strong communication, technical writing, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work proactively in a high-paced environment and willingness to adjust and respond effectively to change
  • Proficient and experience in various project delivery methods

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CMAA - Construction Manager in Training (CMIT) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
  • Experience within the State of Colorado
